As Director of Construction, Steve oversees each renovation—with an eye towards setting the stage for the optimal guest experience. He is adept at handling multiple responsibilities, meeting demanding deadlines and staying the course from planning to execution. By developing key partnerships with general contractors, vendors and unions, renovations run smoothly and are completed on time and on budget.

Steve’s career in the hotel industry began over 30 years ago. In 1997 Steve joined Kimpton Hotel IHP where he was responsible for managing the conversion of the Bismarck Hotel to Hotel Allegro- the first Kimpton in the Midwest. He directed subsequent capital projects there, and eventually began consulting on all Midwest conversions and renovations to ensure Kimpton standards were met.
