As Regional Controller, Renee oversees the accounting for multiple hotels within the Maverick portfolio. She works closely with general managers to achieve financial goals and provide timely and accurate financial statements to support business needs. Renee’s amiable personality and passion for hospitality makes her an excellent partner, and she truly excels at working with ownership groups to achieve financial success and exceed expectations. Additionally, she works on developing internal controls and procedures to maintain company-wide policies for maximum efficiency and consistency.

Renee possesses over 25 years of experience in hospitality accounting, working with various management companies spanning an array of hospitality segments from limited and full-service hotels to resorts and restaurants. She has meticulously honed her “numbers” skills while serving many of the well-known hotel brands, as well as unique independent properties. Renee is also well versed in sales and occupancy taxes in multiple states.

Outside of work, Renee enjoys all things sports related. She loves to travel, especially to Disney World and the beautiful state of Arizona. Her proudest accomplishment is her daughter, who graduated with a master’s in public health from Drexel University. Being the sweet soul that she is, Renee is also devoted to rescuing senior dogs to give them a loving home in their later years—the latest of which is Rocko.
