As Regional Director of Operations, Randy plays a crucial role in overseeing the operational performance and success of multiple hotels within a designated region. In this position, Randy leads a team of hotel general managers and collaborates with various departments to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences, revenue generation, and operational efficiency across all properties.

Randy Romero’s passion for hospitality spans over three decades and hundreds of Hilton properties covering California and New York to Canada and even Tanzania. Always intrigued by people and the human connection, Romero developed an interest in hospitality that led him to venture into the industry.

Throughout his career, Randy successfully led teams at some of the most iconic hotels in the industry, such as The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Hilton Chicago, and the Waldorf Astoria in New York, where he recalled being part of the daily operations of one of the most iconic hotels in the industry as one of the greatest experiences in his career. During this time, Randy was also one of the original pioneers to be involved in the Hilton Honors program, where he helped launch some of the very first initiatives of what has since flourished into an industry leading loyalty program. Randy later assumed the role of Regional Director of Brand, North America where he oversaw a large portfolio of full-service hotels within Hilton. Most recently, Randy served as General Manager at the Hilton Los Angeles, Universal City.

In 2022, Randy joined the team at Sable at Navy Pier Chicago, Curio Collection by Hilton as General Manager. Rooted in his belief that an exceptional team makes for an exceptional hospitality experience, Randy aims to help guide Maverick Hotels & Restaurants into its most incredible chapter yet.
